The Court of Arbitration for Sport (Court of Arbitration for Sport) has ordered the

Tunisian Football Federation to pay 142,000 dinars (approximately €41,500) in compensation to former national team co-coach Mehdi Nafti following his departure in July 2024, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The ruling concerns contractual obligations that were not fully honored by the federation during a leadership transition period within the Tunisian Football Federation (Tunisian Football Federation).

According to the decision, the FTF failed to settle the full amounts stipulated in Nafti’s contract.

However, the compensation awarded by CAS is significantly lower than the total amount initially demanded by the Tunisian coach.

The verdict brings closure to a dispute that arose after Nafti’s exit from his role amid administrative changes at the federation.
