Secretary General, Commonwealth Handball Association Saidu Jibril Ojih (FNIQS) has tasked Sports Development Minister, Senator John Enoh to create a veritable platform for all sports to thrive in the country. The CHA while congratulating Senator Enoh on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) and clearly naming sports as a ministry against its previous nomenclature(Youth & Sports Development) believes the minister cannot afford to toe the line of mistakes of his predecessors.“ Senator John Enoh has a reputation to protect. He has a name that became pronounced when he was at the 8th National Assembly, hence he will be bringing a wealth of administrative and legislative expertise to this new mandate of policy formulation by the executives.

He is now a Sports Development Minister, not of a Youth or football or athletics Ministry. Devolving strategic policies to grassroots development of all sports will be essential foundation for a successful Minstry.
