CHAN 2023 Qualifiers: "I Wont Resign - Super Eagles B Coach

Head Coach, Nigeria Super Eagles B, Salisu Yusuf has insisted that he will not resign after failure to qualify his team for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) 2023, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Kano Pillars coach said this on Thursday during the CHAN 2023 qualifier pre-match Conference at the Bolton White Hotels, Abuja.

When asked if he will resign if he fails to qualify for the CHAN 2023 finals at the expense of Ghana, Yusuf said, "It is not in me to resign. I will not resign if we dont but I am optimistic that we will beat Ghana to the ticket on Saturday."

Black Galaxies of Ghana edged Nigeria's Super Eagles B 7-6 on penalties after a 2-2 draw on two legs. Ghana had won 2-0 at home before the home-based Super Eagles recorded a surprised 2-0 win in Abuja leading to penalties.

Ghana picked the ticket to play at the CHAN 2023 finals in Algeria.
