CHAN 2024: Amaan Stadium To Host Home-Based Eagles’ Group Matches

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the home-based Super Eagles will play their group stage matches of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The 15,000-capacity venue, which recently hosted the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup final, has been selected as one of the key stadiums for the tournament.
Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania, will welcome Group D action, where the Nigerian team will face defending champions Senegal, as well as Sudan and Congo.
CAF announced the official venues for the tournament on Thursday. The 2024 CHAN will be jointly hosted by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
