CHAN 2024: CAF Sets Deadline For Nigeria, Other Qualified Teams

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has issued a deadline for all teams qualified for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Following the conclusion of the final play-off round on Saturday, the lineup and groupings for the tournament have been finalised.

CAF has announced that all participating teams, including Nigeria, must submit their final squad lists by July 22, 2024.

Each squad must include three goalkeepers, with the remaining slots filled by outfield players.

After missing the last two editions of the tournament, Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team secured qualification by overcoming arch-rivals Ghana in the final qualification round.

The 2024 CHAN tournament is scheduled to take place from August 2 to 30, across Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
