CHAN 2024: Kenya Set To Lose The Hosting Rights

Kenya is set to lose the hosting right of the 2024 Championship of African Nations to a rival country, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Kenya is among the three countries given the nod to stage the competition, others include Uganda and Tanzania.
According to the update from CAF, the football body is set to strip Kenya the right after their slow progress in the preparation.
CAF has indicated that Nyayo Stadium is only 10% complete, while Kasarani Stadium is 30% ready.
The Ulinzi Sports Complex, one of the designated training grounds, is nearing completion.
Rwanda has been placed on standby to replace the central African country.
