CHAN 2024: LOC Confirms Stadiums Ready For Kickoff

With less than three weeks to the kickoff of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has confirmed that all designated stadiums are ready for the tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This year’s edition will be jointly hosted by three East African countries, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, tasked with the responsibility of delivering a seamless continental championship.

Following months of preparations and rigorous inspections, the LOC announced on Monday afternoon that all five selected venues are fully equipped to host matches.

The approved stadiums for CHAN 2024 include Benjamin Mkapa Stadium and Amaan Stadium in Tanzania, Moi International Sports Centre and Nyayo National Stadium in Kenya, as well as Mandela National Stadium in Uganda.

The tournament is scheduled to run from August 2 to August 30, 2025.
