CHAN 2024: Nduka Junior Vows Super Eagles Will Bounce Back Against Sudan
Sampson Adedeji
Home-based Super Eagles captain, Junior Nduka, has assured fans that the team is fully prepared to secure victory over Sudan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Eric Chelle’s men suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to defending champions Senegal in their opening Group D fixture at the ongoing 2024 African Nations Championship, leaving them bottom of the group with no points.
With another loss set to end their campaign at the group stage, Nduka remains optimistic about the team’s chances.
“We are taking it one game at a time, and Sudan is next. The last match was a setback, not a disaster. We have a point to prove, and we’re ready to correct our mistakes,” he told thenff.com.
The crucial encounter will be played at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar on Tuesday, with kick-off scheduled for 6 p.m. Nigerian time.
