CHAN 2024: Players Must Show Their Qualities – Chelle

Despite Nigeria’s early exit from the ongoing CHAN 2024, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has challenged his players to showcase their qualities in their final group game against Congo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The home-based Eagles are set to face Congo in their last outing, and Chelle has urged his squad to finish the competition on a positive note.

 “For this game, there will be changes because we lost two games; we need to change some things. The reality is that we lost due to too many mistakes,” Chelle admitted.

 “It’s difficult mentally because the tournament is already over for us, but we must return to Nigeria with something. Tomorrow’s game gives us the chance to put our mistakes behind us.

“I’m waiting to see how the players will start and finish this match because, as professionals, they must remain focused, maintain the right state of mind, and above all, show their qualities.”
