Nigeria’s Super Eagles will take on Rwandan powerhouse APR FC in a friendly match scheduled for July 29 at the Amahoro Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The encounter forms part of the team’s build-up to the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Following the friendly, the Super Eagles will head to Zanzibar for their Group D matches, where they are set to face tough opposition from Senegal, Congo, and Sudan.
APR FC, fresh off a commanding 4-1 victory over Gasogi United in a pre-season fixture at the Shyorongi training base, will also see the clash against Nigeria as valuable preparation ahead of their upcoming season, which includes CAF Champions League commitments.
With Nigeria added to their list of preseason opponents, APR continues to fine-tune their squad against top-level competition.
