CHAN 2024: We May Not Be Favorites, But We'll Give Our Best – Nduka

The captain of the home-based Super Eagles, Nduka Junior, has made it clear that while they are not the favourites to win the upcoming Championship of African Nations (CHAN), they will give their all in the competition, according to BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After missing out on previous editions, the Nigerian team secured their qualification by defeating the Black Galaxies 3-1 on aggregate in the qualifiers.

 "We are not the favourites; teams like Morocco, co-hosts Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda are the strong contenders," Nduka said.

"We will respect our opponents, but we are not intimidated by any of them."

"We will give our best, just as we did in the playoffs against Ghana. We are united, and we have quality players ready to represent the country at CHAN," he added.

 "This is an opportunity to showcase our talent and enhance our profiles," Nduka concluded.
