CHAN 2024 Qualifier: Eguavoen Backs Home Based Eagles To Beat Ghana

The head of the technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation Austin Eguavoen has backed the home based Eagles to beat the Black Galaxies of Ghana, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria will host their counterpart from Ghana in the second leg of the 2024 Championship of African Nations qualifier.

The first leg played at the Accra Sports Stadium ended goalless which makes the reverse fixture crucial for both team.

While speaking to the Kennis FM radio, the former defender thrown his weight behind the local league stars 

“I am 100% sure that this time around we will turn it around".

“I am absolutely confident we will qualify for the CHAN.

“The boys are raring to go and they will do as they promised. We will only pray for luck.”
