CHAN 2024 Qualifier: Rabiu Ali Optimistic On Qualification

Ahead of the 2024 Championship of African Nations qualifier against Ghana, Rabiu Ali is optimistic about the Super Eagles B team reaching the competition proper, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Kano Pillars skipper was one of the players invited for the upcoming qualifiers.

While speaking to the Punch correspondent, Ali was excited about his invitation and aimed to give his best.

 " It's great honour to be invited again".

" For this year I wasn't so sure I would get a call-up because it all depends on the coaching staff if they want you or not, but I have been hopeful".

" I have been called to the team twice, the one in South Africa we tried our best and won the bronze medal and the one in Morocco we came second and Morocco won the trophy".

" I'm very optimistic that this year by the special grace of God, we will deliver the qualifying ticket and also deliver the trophy for Nigeria," he said.
