CHAN Qualifier: Black Galaxies Beat Togo, Send Warning Signal Eagles

Ahead of the crucial 2024 Championship of African Nations qualifier, the Black Galaxies sent a warning signal to the Super Eagles B team with a comfortable 2-0 win over Togo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team arrive in Lome on Tuesday for the friendly with players in high spirits.

Following a very bright start, Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah scored in the 3rd minute, followed by Yakubu Issah’s goal in the 27th minute at the Stade de Kegue in Lome, Togo.

Although both Togo and Ghana played well and created several chances in the remainder of the friendly, neither side could find the back of the net again as the Black Galaxies secured a 2-0 win.

The Black Galaxies will face the Super Eagles first in Ghana on Sunday, December 22, before travelling to Nigeria for the return leg on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
