Ahead of the crucial qualifier, the Black Galaxies of Ghana sent warning signals to the home-based Super Eagles on Thursday evening with a resounding 5-0 win over Northern FC in a warm-up game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The match, held at the Ghanaian Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, saw Berekum Chelsea’s Stephen Amankona steal the spotlight with an impressive hat trick.

Hamza Issah and Abdul Rahman added to the tally, ensuring a dominant performance by the national team.

This convincing win follows the Galaxies’ narrow 1-0 triumph over Nania FC earlier in the day, where rising star Jerry Afriyie’s lone goal made the difference.

The Black Galaxies will host the first leg of the CHAN qualifier against Nigeria on December 22 at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the return leg set for December 28 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.
