Ahead of their opening group game of the CAF Confederation Cup, Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma has insisted that their utmost aim is to win the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Pride of Rivers will face APC Lobito of Angola in the opening game on Sunday at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

During a press conference organised ahead of the game on Saturday, Eguma said they are not under pressure and they are not underrating the Angolan side.

"We aim to win but we are not underrating our opponent because for them to have gotten to this stage means they're a strong side.

"We respect them but our utmost aim is to win the game.

"We are not under pressure, we can't write them off because they are debutant.

"We've prepared very well to ensure that we beat every opposition", he said.

After crashing out at the quarter stage in the last edition of the competition, Rivers United will be hoping to go further this season.
