Nigeria's representative in the CAF Confederation Cup Rivers United started their campaign on a winning note with a comfortable 3-0 win over APC Lobito of Angola in Uyo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Playing at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, the Pride of Rivers dominated the game from the beginning and their effort quickly paid off with the opening goal from Samuel Antwi in the 3rd minute.

The Angolan side was able to keep it tight at the back after conceding the first goal and ensure it stayed 1-0 going into half-time.
