Cairo To Host Junior Badminton Championship

Cairo has been awarded the hosting rights for the upcoming BWF Junior World Championships scheduled to take place in October, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The announcement was made by the Badminton World Federation in an official statement released on Friday.

According to the federation, the decision followed the withdrawal of Indonesia from hosting the tournament due to administrative issues.

The championship, regarded as one of the biggest youth badminton competitions in the world, is expected to bring together top junior players from different countries to compete for global honours.

The hosting rights represent another major boost for Egypt’s growing reputation as a destination for international sporting events, with Cairo set to welcome young badminton talents from across the globe later this year.
