Calf Injury: Forest Will Miss Ola Aina Quality- Nuno
Ibrahim Lateef
Nottingham Forest has faced an injury setback as Super Eagles defender Ola Aina will be out "for a while" due to a calf problem, BSNSports.com.ng has sourced.
The full-back had to leave the pitch in the 40th minute of Tuesday night's 1-0 victory over Manchester United at the City Ground.
After undergoing a scan, it has been confirmed that he will be sidelined for some time.
This situation poses a defensive challenge for the Reds' head coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, ahead of Saturday's match against Aston Villa.
Alex Moreno would be the natural replacement for Aina; however, the Villa loanee is not permitted to play against his parent club.
Nuno Espirito Santo stated, "He has had the scan, and he is going to be out for a while. It is a calf problem, and he will not be available. This is a significant blow. We will miss his quality, his talent, and the routines we have established with his teammates. We are going to miss him." Reports Nottinghamshire Live.
