Cameroon Star Backs Lookman To Win CAF Award

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon star player Flavien Enzo Beyomo has thrown his weight behind Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman to win the prestigious CAF award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International is among the remaining candidates listed for the award.

Beyomo admitted that winning the UEFA Europa League with Atalanta gave him an edge to the award. 

“I believe Lookman will win the African Ballon d’Or,” Boyomo was quoted saying by Actu Cameroon.

 “He won the Europa League and he is the one who has the best chance of winning the trophy this year.”

The winner of the award will be announced on the 16th of December in Marrakech, Morocco.
