Manager of Nigeria's Suoer Falcons Randy Waldrum has made it clear that the outcome of the game against Canada does not matter but the quality of play seems more important, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.

The Canadian women defeated Super Falcons 2-0 on Saturday in Vancouver in one of the doubleheaders friendly lined up for the team.

Despite missing the services of some players like Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie, Super Falcons were able to hold their own in the first stanza before conceding two goals in the second half.

During a post-match conference, Waldrum said they were much more concerned about the quality of play than the result.

“This is part of the process to get to where a team like Canada or a top team in the world is at. The result is not as important as the quality of play," he said.

Nigeria has another opportunity to redeem its image when they face the same opponent on Monday in Langford.
