Canadian Legend Backs Dessers

Former Canadian international Nathaniel Artfield has voiced his support for Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite the rise of Hamza, Dessers remains the club's top scorer across all competitions this season.

Artfield dismissed critics who believe Dessers is not suited for the club, stating: "Cyriel Dessers—who, in my opinion, gets unfair criticism—is far better than some make him out to be. On the other hand, Hamza may not be as exceptional as the hype suggests. But there’s definitely talent there. He just needs to keep grinding like the Buff, and hopefully, he’ll reach those heights."

Dessers has netted 22 goals in all competitions this season.
