Carabao Cup: Arokodare Sends Wolves Into The 4th Round

Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Tolulope Arokodare opened his goal account for Wolverhampton Wanderers in their 2-0 win over Everton in the Carabao Cup third round at the Molineux Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The tall forward, who joined the Premier League side during the summer transfer window, came off the bench in the 68th minute to replace Larsen.

He sealed the victory with Wolves’ second goal in the 87th minute, calmly finishing to the delight of the home fans.

Earlier, midfielder Marshall Munetsi had broken the deadlock in the 27th minute, giving the hosts a deserved lead after a dominant first-half display.

With the result, Wolves secured safe passage into the fourth round of the competition, continuing their positive run under their new campaign.
