Cardiff City Terminate Contract Of Nigerian Defender Jamilu Collins

Sky Bet Championship side Cardiff City have officially parted ways with Nigerian defender Jamilu Collins, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Welsh club confirmed the decision on Thursday with Collins' name notably absent from their released retained list.

Collins departs the Bluebirds after a three-year spell, which was hampered by injury setbacks.

The 30-year-old sustained a pre-season injury that severely limited his involvement during the 2024/25 campaign, featuring in just three league matches.

The left-back initially joined Cardiff City on a free transfer from German side SC Paderborn in May 2022.

Over his time with the club, he made a total of 44 appearances, contributing one goal and four assists.
