Chairman House Committee on Sports Pays Condolence Visit To Grieving Tijani Babangida

Chairman House Committee on Sports Hon Ekene Adams on Sunday paid a condolence visit to former Nigeria international and President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, Tijani Babangida, who was involved in a ghastly accident along Kaduna–Zaria Road.


Babangida, his wife and his maid are still recovering from various degrees of injuries sustained in the crash which claimed the lives of his brother and 1993 U-17 World Cup winner, Ibrahim Babangida.


The ex-international and his wife were also hit by the death of their one-year-old son, Fadil, who reportedly passed on during surgery, as a result of the accident.


In the picture shared by Hon Ekene Adams, Babangida, who is recuperating in his home inAbuja had his leg bandaged and needed crutches for support while his wife is said to have successfully undergone facial surgery after the accident.
