Champions League: CAF Communicates To Rivers United, Others

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially communicated the dates, venues, and kick-off times for Matchday 1 and 2 of the CAF Champions League group stage fixtures to all participating clubs, including Nigeria’s Rivers United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to information released on Monday, CAF confirmed that the communication was sent to ensure smooth logistics and early preparations ahead of the group stage.

However, a few match venues are still awaiting final confirmation and are expected to be approved in the coming days after final inspections.

Meanwhile, selected match officials have already arrived in Cairo, Egypt, for pre-group-stage preparations and technical briefings as CAF intensifies its readiness for Africa’s premier club football competition.
