Champions League: Osimhen Resumes Training With Galatasaray

Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has resumed training with Turkish giants Galatasaray ahead of the resumption of the UEFA Champions League this week, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen returned to Istanbul on Monday after completing international duty with Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where he played a key role in the Super Eagles’ third-place finish.

The 25-year-old forward had departed the North African country on Saturday evening following Nigeria’s bronze medal playoff victory, before linking up with his club teammates at the start of the week.

Osimhen was involved in Galatasaray’s training session as preparations intensified for their crucial Champions League fixture against Spanish side Atlético Madrid, scheduled for Wednesday.

His return is a significant boost for Galatasaray as they look to strengthen their attacking options and improve their chances in the highly competitive European encounter.
