Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has said he's already enjoying his stay at the new club Watford FC, BSNsports.com.ng report

Okoye joined the Hornets during the winter transfer of 2022 from the Dutch Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam but stayed in the Netherlands till the summer before moving to the Championship side.

The young goalkeeper was in action on Tuesday during the team pre-season friendly between Watford and Bolton Wanderer, he came on in the second half after Watford were two goals down.

While reacting to how he is feeling in his new club, Okoye said, "Yeah fantastic, having a great time already, funny guys, funny teammates, good vibes. And I think that’s important feeling connected to the players, to the staff, setting very very well.

"Yeah it was awesome had a good time there, we worked very hard with fun, with a smile on our faces. We made good steps in the right direction in Austria," he said.
