Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Josh Maja has a day to forget on Saturday as he returned to the treatment room again, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Maja returned to English football this summer after a decent season with the French Ligue side Girondins Bordeaux.

He pitched his tent with West Brom despite deep interest from other top sides.

He has spent most of the season and the treatment room but returned with a bang last weekend as he scored against Birmingham.

The Baggies suffered a 2-1 away loss to Sunderland on Saturday afternoon and Maja could only last for 36 minutes before picking up an injury.

As at the time of writing this report, the degree of his injury is yet to be determined.
