West Brom secured maximum three points on the road on Saturday against Stoke City in the English championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Hawthorns narrowly missed the opportunity to pick the promotion ticket last season, losing out in the playoffs.

Playing at the Britannia Stadium, Karlan Grant netted the opening goal for West Brom in the 18th minute.

Koumas leveled up for the host in the 29th minute before Super Eagles striker Josh Maja scored the winning goal in the 31st minute.

Maja has now scored 4 goals this season for West Brom.
