Chukwueze To Make Milan Pre-season Debut On August 8 Aginst Monza

AC Milan new signing and Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze will make his Milan debut on August 8 against Monza in a pre-season game tagged Silvio Berlusconi Trophy at the U-Power Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Recall the Nigerian who could not fly out to the United States to meet his new team-mates after his arrival was officially confirmed.

MilanNews reported that the Nigerian was not joining the rest of the Rossoneri squad in the United States for their last preseason match against Barcelona because there is not enough time to get the bureaucratic issues such as a visa resolved.

Both teams lock horns on August 1st, at the modern Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

After undergoing his medical and fitness checks Wednesday, Chukwueze signed a five-year contract and had his customary photoshoot before the club announce him later on Thursday.

Instead, the Nigerian remained at Milanello working alone while awaiting the return of his team-mates.
