Chukwueze's Goal Not Enough To Save 10-Man Milan Against Lazio

Super Eagles player Samuel Chukwueze’s goal proved to be in vain as AC Milan suffered yet another defeat after Lazio converted a late penalty under the San Siro floodlights, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
The goal marked Chukwueze’s third in Serie A since joining from the Spanish La Liga side, Villarreal.
Lazio took the lead in the first half when Mattia Zaccagni found the net, firing home a rebound from Adam Murisic’s shot.
The situation worsened for Milan when they went down to 10 men in the 67th minute. Matteo Guendouzi sent Isaksen on a counterattack, and he was brought down by a reckless tackle from Pavlovic, leading to a straight red card from the referee.
Despite being a man down, Milan managed to equalize when Rafael Leao delivered a cross from the left.
Nuno Tavares lost track of Chukwueze, allowing him to score with a free header at the back post, which went in off the underside of the crossbar.
The drama continued deep into stoppage time when Isaksen went down in the box after being challenged by Maignan, who had come rushing off his line.
Following a VAR On-Field Review, a penalty was awarded to Lazio. Pedro calmly stepped up to take the penalty, sending Maignan the wrong way and securing the last-gasp winning goal.
