Club Brugge Plans To Recoup €8m Investment On Okereke

Belgium Jupiler Pro League side, Club Brugge is set to recoup it's €8m euro investment on Nigerian striker David Okereke, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Club Brugge during the week said it was approaching a solution for Okereke as they prepares for the new season, and so the striker could be sold permanently as three clubs, two from Italy (Lazio and Torino) and Besiktas of Turkey are showing interest in him.

Okekere in the summer of 2019 cost the club a sloppy 8 million euros, but despite a promising start, the Nigerian was unable to deliver. 

In the past season, he was loaned out to the Italian Serie A side Venezia but with a varying success, they got relegated to Serie B. 

With the option of buy clause not activated by Venezia in the loan deal, Okekere had to return to Club Brugge.

Meanwhile, Carl Hoefkens is currently preparing his Club Brugge players for the Super Cup against AA Gent. So it's not certain if Okereke is in his plans this season.
