Coaches, Players Align as Mosports FC Sets Sights on Success In Federation Cup, NLO1

Mosports FC is stepping up preparations for the upcoming State President Federation Cup and the NLO1 season, with club leadership expressing strong confidence in the team’s readiness to compete at a high level.

In an interview, the club’s Chief Executive Officer and Director, Raymond Moses Udofeh, said the team is focused not merely on participation but on making a significant impact in both competitions.

“We’re not just participating; we’re aiming to compete among the very best,” Udofeh stated.

According to him, the squad has undergone an intensive training programme designed to improve fitness, tactical awareness and mental resilience. The coaching crew—led by Caleb Baba, alongside Josiah Babiyo Chindadi, George Amaku and Bukola Grace Omisakin—has focused on preparing players for the physical and psychological demands of competitive football.

Udofeh emphasised that the team’s conditioning has been a key priority, noting that players are in peak physical shape and mentally prepared for the challenges ahead. He added that the technical staff has worked to instill confidence and discipline within the squad.

Looking ahead to the fixtures, the Mosports FC boss maintained an optimistic outlook, highlighting the blend of talent and experience within the team. He stressed that the club intends to challenge strongly rather than simply make up the numbers.

On individual performances, Udofeh declined to single out specific players, instead pointing to the collective strength of the squad across all departments, including goalkeeping, defence, midfield and attack.

He also acknowledged the contributions of the club’s backroom staff, including coordinator and secretary Nelson Shuaibu and kit manager Abel Bulus, whose efforts he described as vital to the team’s preparation.

With both competitions fast approaching, Mosports FC says it is fully focused and ready to deliver strong performances when action begins.
