Team Nigeria's high jump star, Temitope Adeshina, has attributed her bronze medal success at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow to the positive impact of having a coach by her side, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Adeshina secured the bronze medal in the women's high jump, adding another podium finish to Nigeria's athletics campaign at the Games.

Reflecting on her performance after the event, the Nigerian athlete said having a coach during the competition made a significant difference compared to her previous Commonwealth Games appearance.

 "At the last Commonwealth Games, I didn't have a coach, but this time around, I had one," Adeshina said.

 "I can't see myself without a coach, and having one on the sidelines this time around really helped. I now have something to show for it."

The bronze medal marks another milestone in Adeshina's career and highlights the importance of technical guidance and support in elite competition, with the high jumper expressing confidence that the presence of a coach played a key role in her podium finish.
