Commonwealth Qualifier: Nigeria Face Ghana, 2 Others In Group A

To qualify for the Beach Volleyball in the commonwealth qualifier, the Nigeria men and women volleyball team will have to contend with Ghana, Gambia, and Seychelles in Group A, BSNsports.com.ng can report.

The Nigeria team who have been preparing for the competition in the past few weeks touched down in Ghana a few days ago alongside a team of officials.

According to fixtures released on Friday evening, Nigeria's men's team will open the floor against Ghana by 10 am on Saturday before their women will take to the beach by noon.

The Nigeria team consists of two men (Godwin Shekerau and Hilary Simon), Two women (Happy Wushilang and Albertina Francis) and Three Official (Kayode Ajilore, Sam Timothy and Francis Imoudu).

Birmingham in England will stage the 2022 Commonwealth games starting from the 28th of July to the 8th of August.
