Confed Cup: FECOFA Invite CAF To Inspect Stadium Ahead Of Rivers United, Other Game

The Congolese Federation of Football Association( FECOFA) is hoping to secure approval for its stadium in Lubumbashi ahead of the Confederation Cup games against Rivers United and others, BSNSports.com.ng understand.
Frédéric Kibasa-Maliba stadium is expected to serve as a home for Ei Lupopo and Motema Pembe both will be campaigning in the second tier of CAF competitions this year.
The CAF inspection team was in Congo on a pre-inspection visit on December 22nd, 2022.
In a letter addressed to the Confederation of African Football, the Congolese Federation of Football Association requests an invitation for inspection this month of January 2023.
"We have the advantage of requesting today an independent inspection visit no later than January 06, 2023, to assess the current state of the stadium at the end of the rehabilitation works carried out by the Province of Haut Katanga to obtain approval for CAF matches and competitions,†the statement said.
