Confed Cup: Rivers United, Others Can't Stop Us - Dream FC Manager

Ahead of the first group game of the CAF Confederation Cup, the manager of Ghanaian club Dream FC Ameenu Shardow has said teams in their group can't stop them from qualifying for the quarter-final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

As a debutant in the competition, Dream FC is housed in a tough group alongside APC Lobito ( Angola), Club Africain ( Tunisia), and Nigeria's Rivers United.

While speaking on Ghanaian radio about the group, the manager said they respect clubs in the group but they are confident of reaching the knockout round.

"We wish to go past the group stages. Even though we greatly respect the teams, we have examined the group and are aware of their strengths.

"However, given the caliber of our team and their preparedness and performance, I am confident that we will be able to advance", he said.
