After suffering defeat in Ghana, the head coach of Rivers United Stanley Eguma has promised that his team will bounce back stronger, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian representative suffered a 2-1 defeat to Dreams FC in the second match of the CAF Confederation Cup in Kumasi.

Eguma rued the missed chances in the game and promised that the error would be corrected before the next game.

" They ( Dream FC) got their chances and converted them, especially in the first half.

"We had a load of chances in the second half but unfortunately, we couldn't convert those chances.

"That was our greatest undoing today and I think we have to go back and work on those areas and come back stronger in the next game", he stated.

Rivers United will confront Tunisian giant Club Africain in the next match.

The Tunisian side defeated APC Lobito of Angola 1-3 in their game on Sunday.
