Confederation Cup: CAF Invites African Finest As Rivers United Know Group Opponents On Monday

The Confederation of African Football ( CAF) has invited former African stars who have in the past taken part in inter-club competitions to participate in a draw slated for Monday, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

The draw for the competitions was initially scheduled for November 16th but was postponed due to some circumstances that were not revealed.

Nigeria's champions Rivers United are among the 16 teams that will be drawn on Monday.

The Pride of Rivers reached the group stage of the competition after they defeated Al Nasr of Libya in the playoffs round.

The draws have been slated for the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Monday by 11 am local time.

 Angola's Flavio Amado, Tunisians Medji Traoui and Ayman Mathlouthi, Zambia's Christopher Katongo and Morocco's Ghizlane Chebbak are the players invited.
