Conference League: Chukwueze On Target In Villarreal Win

Spanish La Liga side Villareal started their campaign in this year's UEFA Conference League on a winning note as they recorded a 4-3 win over the visiting Lech Poznan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Poznan scared the host by scoring the first goal in the 2nd minute through Skoras before Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze netted the equalizer in the 32nd minute.

Two quick-fire goals from Alex Baena put the Yellow Submarine in the driving seat going into halftime.

Ishak scored two goals for Poznan in the 47th and 61st minute before Chukwueze was subbed off in the 80th minute.

Coquelin got the winning goal for the host in the 89th minute and secured a win for the Spanish side.
