Conference League: Gift Orban Up For Player Of The Week Award

Following his outstanding performance on Matchday 4, Nigeria's Super Eagles and KAA Gent striker Gift Orban has been nominated for the UEFA Conference League Player of the Week, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigeria youngster stole the show in far Iceland on Thursday as he netted a hat trick against Bredablik in Gent's 2-3 away win.

He scored his first goal of the game in the 6th minute before adding the other two goals in the second half to earn Gent a valuable away win.

He was nominated for the Player of the Week alongside Moubagna ( Bodgo Glimt), Svarthornson ( Bredablik), and Peretz ( Maccabi Tel Aviv).

Except for Orban who scored 3 goals, all other nominated players scored twice.
