Conference League: UEFA Suspends Nigerian Forward

The hopes of KRC Genk to have their Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare for the crucial UEFA Conference League game against Ferencvaros has been dashed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Arokodare was sent off against the same opponent on match day 3 and the club's effort to have the red card overturned was turned down by UEFA on Thursday.

UEFA further confirmed that Arokodare will serve a compulsory one-match suspension which comes immediately 

His absence will surely hurt Genk as he has scored for them in two consecutive games.
