Congress Approves NFF's N14.5b 2024 Budget Proposal

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has budgeted over Fourteen billion naira for expenditure for the year 2024, The BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The total sum, N14,494,469,293.00 (Fourteen Billion, Four Hundred and Ninety-Four Million, Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine Thousand and Two Hundred and Ninety-Three Naira) only was approved by the NFF Congress during its 79th Annual General Assembly in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Sunday.

“The Congress approved the Nigeria Football Federation’s 2024 Budget proposal of the sum of N14,494,469,293.00 (Fourteen Billion, Four Hundred and Ninety-Four Million, Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine Thousand and Two Hundred and Ninety-Three Naira) only,” the federation said in a press statement.

The congress also passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation led by Ibrahim Musa Gusau.

The Congress was conspicuously silent over the fate of Super Falcons Coach, Randy Waldrum whose contract with the federation ended in August after he led the team to the Round 16 of the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Also, the federation kept mute on how 2023 budget was expended.
