Connecticut Sun Signs D'Tigress Star, Amy Okonkwo

The Connecticut Sun has signed D'Tigress Star, Amy Okonkwo on a training camp contract, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okonkwo currently plays for Tango Bourges Basket avg 12.8 pts 5.7 rebounds and 1.6 ASPG.

She will compete for a roster spot for the 2025 WNBA season when she finishes the season in France with Bourges Basket.

They tip off the 2025 WNBA regular season at home on May 18 against the Washington Mystics.

She averaged 11 points per game during the Olympic Games for Nigeria and shot 91% from the Free Throw Line, the best tally amongst forwards who averaged more than 2.5 attempts per game.
