Contract Negotiations Collapse As Tunisia Miss Out On Herve Renard

The Tunisian Football Federation are unlikely to appoint Hervé Renard as the permanent head coach of the Carthage Eagles after contract negotiations between both parties broke down, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Renard, who was appointed on an interim basis to lead Tunisia during the FIFA World Cup, had been in discussions with the federation over extending his stay as the team's permanent manager.

However, negotiations reportedly collapsed on Saturday, bringing an end to talks and leaving the North African nation searching for a new head coach.

The breakdown in negotiations means the possibility of Renard continuing in charge of the Carthage Eagles is now considered highly unlikely, with the Tunisian Football Federation expected to explore alternative coaching options ahead of upcoming international competitions.
