The round of 32 in the Coppa Italia went down on Tuesday evening and it was a good day for Serie A side Salernitana who defeated fellow side Sampdoria 4-0, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria's Flying Eagles star Chukwuemeka Ikwuemesi was the star of the game as he scored once and made one assist in the game.

He opened the scoring in the 28th minute before Loum Tchaouna made it 2-0 in the 46th minute.

Tchaouna completed his brace in the 67th minute off an assist from the Nigerian forward while he was subbed off a minute later.

Jovane Cabral sealed the game with the 4th goal in the 86th minute and ensured an easy passage to the round of 16 for the host.
