Nigeria's Falconets skipper Tosin Demehin has expressed her excitement following their 1-0 win in their opening group C game at the ongoing FIFA Women's U20 tournament in Costa Rica, BSNsports.com.ng report.

Falconets in the early hours of Friday proved the bookmakers wrong by beating European champion France 1-0.

Sabastine netted the only goal of the game in the 85th minute in a keenly contested encounter played at San Jose stadium.

"Good game girls, onto the next one.One gone, five more games to go. It can only get better.

"Gratitude is my attitude. It can only be God," she said.

Nigeria will face Korea Republic on Sunday in their second group match.
