Costa Rica 2022:Abiodun Hopes For A Better Falconets Performance Against Korea

Still basking in the euphoria of their 1-0 win over France, Nigeria's Falconets midfielder Deborah Abiodun is willing to have a better performance against Korea in their next match, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

The Korea Republic will pose a difficult threat for Nigeria after their impressive performance against Canada which saw them secure a comfortable 2-0 win.

The result catapulted them to the top of the group basically on goal difference.

But Abiodun is hoping to turn the table against the Asian giant on Sunday.

" I'm very proud to be part of this ambitious and united group. Victory against France is now behind us, and now fully focused on putting up a better display against South Korea. We are here to shine! Let's go for Gold!," she said.

A win for Nigeria will guarantee them a spot in the quarter-final of the competition.
