Court Sacks Bayelsa State FA

A Federal High Court sitting in Yenogoa, Bayelsa State has asked the Bayelsa Football Association Board Members to stop parading themselves as one until the hearing of the pending case before the honourable court, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This is contained in an order of interlocutory delivered by Hon. Justice Isah Dashen restraining the Bayelsa State FA following its purportedly elected executives from parading themselves as elected members of Bayelsa State Football Association pending the hearing of the originating summons before the court.

The court went further to restrain the Nigeria Football Federation from recognising or dealing with the FA in respect of Football matter pending the hearing of the case before the Yenogoa Federal High Court.

The Federal High Court also declared the Bayelsa FA 9th June elections null and void.

The presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Isah Dashen also barred the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development from dealing or recognising the Bayelsa FA following their purported elections.
